  • 14 Induction results

Well the results of my 14 day induction are in (insert drum roll here)

I started my new Atkins way of eating on March 15th and weighed 270lbs. on March 29th after 14 day induction I lost 9 lbs and weigh in at 261lbs!

I followed the plan as best as I possibly could. I added an excersise program but, my Job kept me too busy to get much time for excersise so, If I had to critic my overall performance I'd say that the eating part was not a problem, but I need to add a much better excersise routine to continue on to my goal weight of 200lbs.

The ADBB was a big part of my success in sticking to the induction and correcting mistakes along the way. Thank you all for your help and support :wave

    Woohoo, BusyDad!

You've done very well! Now will you go on with extended induction, or will you move into OWL?

One thing's for sure, man. You are a BusyDad at losing weight, too! *lol*

        Good for you, BusyDad!!! :icondance

Keep up the great work, and think about how you can incorporate exercise into your life...the benefits are many, and it'll even give you more energy to deal with your BusyStuff!
Even a half hour 3 times a week will make a difference, so perhaps start small with that.

                  OWL or Extended Induction?

In answer to the question if I will go to OWL or extended induction.

I think I will extend the induction for a little while since it took me the first 3 or 4 days of the 14 day induction to get into the induction groove.

Plus, I am just getting my routine settled into the induction phase so it won't be very hard to continue a little while longer.

But, increasing the amount of exercise is a my next big goal. :icondance

Thank you all for the pats on the Back!

:icondance Good job! Yeah, exercise is really important! I really don't like exercise but I know that it has to be done (dang it! lol!). i know you can do it! Try small things first, like parking towards the back of parking lots instead of closer to the doors, use the stairs instead of elevators and try walking places that are short distances instead of using the car. All small things add up!

Congratulations on the pounds down, but more importantly on how the good habits you have started now. Taking control over one's eating and what enters one mouth is a huge deal. Being able to shed all the bad junk and eat only the good makes this diet just a matter of time and perserverence. Good job!!
