The rule is always READ ingredients.
Now I am thinking that coffee mate has corn syrup in it which is sugar. If that is right, it is out. Hidden sugars like that can really stall your progress. Real cream works though.

Here is what I found about it
Tapioca syrup is made from the cassava plant root. It is an excellent match for and replacement of, regular corn syrup, providing similar sweetness, body and humectancy.
So made from a starchy vegetable, and therefore might be admissable on the 8th OWL rung if it doesn't affect your weightlosses or give you cravings
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

            Re: Caffeine question

I've tried induction twice, once for about six weeks and the other for half that time.

1st induction/6 weeks: I drank tons of caffeine and still lost 30 pounds

2nd induction/3 weeks: I mostly cut out caffeine and lost 20 pounds

...everyone is different, but I've lost plenty of weight still drinking tons of caffeine

              Re: Caffeine question

Caffeine doesn't effect weight loss, but it can cause cravings and hunger pangs. However if you have it in the morning and then eat your normal lunch I can't see how that would effect anything...

When I have caffeine at night, all of a sudden at midnight I'm ravenous... I had to cut it out all together because it was just messing up my blood sugar...

If you have blood sugar issues, I would avoid it...
