Hi all,
I am on day 9 of induction and have lost 2 pounds. Disappointed it hasn't been more so I am looking over the past week to see what I can improve upon. I was still drinking my diet pepsi last week, so now I am cutting that out completely (which may be the cause for today's monster headache). I was eating a handful of almonds each day, so that is out until the nut step in OWLS. I was also eating an Atkins bar a day (wow they are good) which I am also cutting out.
I reviewed my stats at fitday and noticed that my percentages are a bit off. I tend to be around 53% fats, 5% carbs, and 42% protein. I am eating mostly eggs, salads (leaf lettuce and dressing), cheese, and chicken breast or steaks. How do I improve my numbers? How do I get more fats and less protein? HELP!!!!
Oh, if it helps. I am 5'6" and 171.2 lb ... hoping to eventually lose 40. (but will be happy if I can lsoe 30).
Any help is appreciated!
Jen
