    I'd make a cole slaw...

Slice your cabbage into paper thin shreds, mix mayonnaise, a bit of mustard, pinch of salt and a tiny bit of splenda if desired, toss cabbage in the dressing.

I like bacon fried cabbage: Fry up some bacon - take out the bacon and cook the cabbage in the bacon fat - low temperature till it softens (takes a while) add some of the cut up bacon bacon.

Cole slaw would be really good with fried fish actually

I like to saute it also, in a little grapeseed or other light oil. It doesn't have the smell of boiled cabbage, it brings out the sweetness

just shred, heat the oil and saute

You hate cabbage and I could eat a whole big head in one day. Raw cabbage strips are almost always my last snack of the day. I love it any way you prepare it. I know this doesn't help you any, so I'll go now. Shakes head, wondering how she can NOT like cabbage...

Cabbage is wonderful -- I agree with Sunny....my favorite way is fried - I can't get enough, but how about making a roast (beef or pork) in the oven (or crock pot) and adding it with onion to the roast water.....that's another great way to have it.

I found it at this german deli in orange county, ca. If I ever find any low carb at a regular store i will let you know! But if theres a german deli by your house, check it out, they had a lot of sausage w/ no sugar added

Thanks Fresh - we have lots of ethnic delis here on the east coast. We have a favorite polish deli that makes their own kielbasa, so there's really no labels to check out. I'll keep an eye out for the german delis downtown or perhaps try my local market which has an "international foods" section...

You could ask them what ingredients they use. If you don't want to mention the 'A' word just tell them that you have some food intolerances and need to know before buying it so it won't make you sick
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

If they spoke any English whatsoever, I'd do that... Nicest people, best food, but either they don't speak English or don't want people to know they speak English....

Well I ended up having tofu and cabbage stir fry which was delicious!

I shredded savoy cabbage into a pan of melted butter, added the tofu cubes, soya sauce, ginger, garlic, sesame seed oil, cayenne pepper.

It was delicious! (probably will add seafood next time!)
