Hey all,
I went and bought the Dr Atkins New Carbohydrate Counter book yesterday (unfortunately the UK version, how do I measure veges in tablespoons?!) and under eggs it shows:
Fried Egg (1)
0.6g Carbs, 0g Fibre, 0.6g Net Carbs, 6.2g Protein, 6.9g Fat
Poached/Boiled Egg (1)
0.6g Carbs, 0g Fibre, 0.6g Net Carbs, 6.3g Protein, 5.3g Fat
I also see the Atkins website has a similar carb count.
But the book & the induction guide from the website both indicate there are zero carbs in eggs. I have not been counting eggs as carbs and am eating 4 a day. What is the story behind carbs in eggs? Help!
