  • Eating 2 Much????

While going thru induction is there such thing as eating to much? Today is my 2nd day of induction and no matter what I eat I still remain hungry. Prime example... I got a 4x4 protein style burger with just meat and cheese from in and out today, and 20minutes after eating it, I was hungry again, what the ****? Is that normal or is my stomach just broken?

Starstudit, during induction, you eat whatever it takes to keep you from being hungry.

After you are in full ketosis you appetite will automatically decrease.

Do NOT skimp on food while in induction! If you do, you'll get hungry and be tempted to eat all kinds of illegal junk!

    Hope that helps.

when you are hungry a few minutes after eating make sure you eat something with fat....when you got that "protein style burger" are you sure it was beef or soy? Order a double hamburger with mayo. Grab a couple extra packets of mayo and take them with you. I dip meat and veggies in it and am rarely hungry afterward.

Cream cheese wrapped in lunchmeat or in celery is another way to get extra fat in your day -- you need fat to keep from getting hungry inbetween meals.

          Good luck

StarStudIt, read this article that tell you exactly what you need to do.. and eat... on induction. You really need to know this to be successful! It has links to the rules of induction and what you are allowed to eat.

The second one covers how much fat we need to eat:

But yes, you can have mayonnaise, cream cheese, sour cream and cream. But there are limits on the cheese, sour cream and cream!

Atkins is a high FAT diet, not a high protein one. Excess dietary protein is converted to glucose, which is stored as fat. So eating an entire cow won't help you lose weight.

You really need to read the links Sunny provided and you really need to read the book. There are too many lies about Atkins, so do yourself a favor and do it properly----your health and safety depends on it.
