Re: Atkins Bars- they lied??
If you do not feed your sweet tooth during Induction, the feelings of "sweet food deprivation" will disappear. The longer you stick to natural foods, the easier it gets.
I've discussed this in another thread on the "Main Atkins Diet" forum. The title of that thread is "Atkins products -- Can I have them?" or something similar. You can do a search to find it.
It is questionable whether the Vanilla shake is acceptable, as it depends on the kind of milk protein concentrate Atkins Nutritionals is using. The other shakes are certainly not acceptable during Induction, because they have "illegal" ingredients. But our experience on the Board is that most people are stalled by them or experience a slowdown in their weight loss. You are the one that has to decide if it's worth taking the risk of trading weight/health for the satisfaction of having a shake.
