  • My Atkins Diary.

    Right, i'm starting my atkins woe tomorrow. It will be parsnip, swede, coffee cream, and mostly important sugar-free! (If you have read my other thread you would inderstand!)

    I'm very excited! I need to do some shopping!
    Starting Weight = 10st13lb - BMI = Overweight.
    First Goal = 9 and a half stone - BMI = Normal.

    Dissertation = 3,645/10,000 words.

    Being prepared is half the battle, Jojo

    F/60 yrs/5ft 5.5" (Though due to collapsing vertebrae I am now only 5'3" - but I refuse to recalculate my BMI )

      Parsnip free - that must be quite a challenge
      (Sorry but parnsip is not one my favourite things)

        Liv - Before Elizellen told me otherwise I thought that turnips and swede were the same thing, turns out I was mistaken, so I went to the supermarket and brought what I thought were turnips but were infact parsnips, so next time if I get it wrong i'm just going to give up lol!

        1st day back on Atkins after the turnip/parsnip/swede fiasco.
        Breakfast - Turkey, mushroom, and leek omelette.
        Lunch/Dinner (woke up v. late so breakfast was really lunch) - Spicy Burgers and Stir-fry cabbage, spinach, mushrooms, peppers and leek.
        Snack later - Piece of left-over lemon chicken and a decaf coffee with some cocoa in it , maybe some cucumber and mayo if i'm still hungry.
        Exersize = 0 :'( to busy doing my dissertation!
