  • I made it through Day 1!

    Hello everyone! My name is Erin, and while I am not new to this board or to Atkins, I have been away from this WOE for the last 6 months.
    (you can read about it on the Introduce Yourself! forum)

    Anyway, I am so happy to have found what I need in order to get myself committed to this WOL again. I am going at it like I am a first timer. Reading and Reviewing my DANDR on a daily basis.

    I made it through Day one!

    A look at my menu:

    Time you ate: 9:30 am
    Food Consumed:
    3 eggs
    1oz cheddar
    slice roasted ham
    32 oz water

    Total carbs for Breakfast:
    2.5 grams

    Time you ate: 3:00 pm
    Food Consumed:
    3 slices roast beef
    1 oz cheddar
    32oz water

    Total carbs for Lunch:
    0.2 grams

    Time you ate: 8:00 pm
    Food Consumed:
    Pork chop (grilled)
    chicken thigh (grilled)
    1 c cauliflower
    2c salad
    1tbsp salad dressing (oil/vinegar)
    32oz water

    Total carbs for Dinner:
    3.5 grams

    Good Job! I have found it motivating to record like you did...everything and adding the carbs up as I go. Congrats!

      :wave Hey Erin welcome back

      now to refresh your memeory we do not eat our carbs all at one meal as we do not want to spike our insulin then so please spread those veggies out to all meals so youhave some carb some protein and some fat every time you eat.

            Pulled up my socks...now I am having at least half a cup of veggies at breakfast...and 1 cup at lunch and dinner
