    what is a 'portion'??

    I only have the big tub and dont know what a 'packet' would measure at?

    The number of servings of granular Splenda you can have is a bit confusing. Splenda Inc. defines 1 serving of granular Splenda as 1 teaspoon. So if you were to go by what they are saying, you are allowed 3 teaspoons per day.

    In terms of carbs however, 1 packet of Splenda is equivalent to 2 teaspoons. In terms of sweetness, 1 packet of Splenda is 2 tsp of sugar, while granular Splenda can be replaced by sugar in 1:1 ratio. So 2 tsp of sugar are 1 individual packet of Splenda and 2 tsp of granular Splenda. In DANDR, Dr. Atkins wrote:

    So what Dr. Atkins was referring to is 3 packets of Splenda per day. This is 6 teaspoons of granular Splenda, so 6 servings of granular Splenda as defined by Splenda Inc.
