  • Blew it yesterday!!

    Things could of been worse, but I broke my induction rules RIGHT at 14 days!
    Long story short, I was very upset last night.. my cell phone went "missing" in the grocery store and I am pretty sure someone stole it. Although I was an idiot and had it in the cart cup holder. I spent $300 on it a couple weeks ago and it was very important to me.
    And.. it's gone.. just "poof".. I guess someone pinched it while I wasn't looking.
    Live and learn..
    But at the end of the day I went over my 1oz of sour cream.. I probably had 3oz sour cream.. and I had TWO diet pepsi's after the incident.
    I know it's silly to cry over a cellphone but we are really poor and I can't afford another one. I am still completely distraught.
    My "cheat" could of been worse, but at least I know that part of my eating problem is definitely emotional. As soon as something "traumatic" happened, I turned to diet pepsi.. and I didn't care about eating more sour cream. Nothing "mattered".
    Something I need to work on.....

    Sorry to hear that you lost you cell. I can understand that are upset. Not only was it special to you but we often feel violated when people grab our personal belongings like that. I hope you stopped the service right away.
    I don't think you did too badly considering. Just keep going. And it is good to learn about our weak spots. We all have them.

      Learning what triggers our binges is one of the first steps to learning how to overcome them... At least you didn't go off plan...

      What else could you have done last night to make you feel better ?

        No, in all seriousness. I went back to the store at 11pm after it closed to search outside to make sure it hadn't been dropped on the floor somewhere. After I realised it was "gone", I soothed myself with some music from my favourite band (the cure). With out the music it would of been worse..
        I just hope the aspartame and the extra sour cream don't hit me too hard in the next few days.
