  • Protein Shake OK on Induction?

    Hello All!

I'm starting induction today, and have a question...

I tried induction once before, and found it hard to eat eggs for breakfast every day. I have a protein shake I really like, non-Atkins product, that I'd like to have instead for breakfast. Does this sound acceptable for induction, and if not, for the next phase?

Calories are 110, 1 gram of carbs, 3 grams sugar

Although it says 3 grams sugar, it has aspartame in it - not actual sugar.

    Thoughts are appreciated!

    Thank you.

What are the other ingredients? According to the Rules of Induction, you only eat what's on the Induction Acceptable Foods List, so check the ingredients to make sure they are on the list.

I wouldnt drink a shake with Aspartame in it. Aspartame tends to stall some people, and induce cravings. I, myself wouldnt take that risk.

Try this. For real. You don't need a protein shake, this is s serious protein shake, and you likely already have all the ingredients and a blender.

Wow! This doesn't sound odd to me at all, if the eggs start to get to me I'll definately try it out! Thank you for the great idea.

You do not have to eat eggs for breakfast. You can have anything from soup to salads to leftovers.
