  • hot dogs

    hey, i got hotdog today, they have 0 carbs and 0 sugars.. here are the ingredients:
    water, satl, flavorings, hydrolyzed soy protien, sodium phosphate, paprika, sodium erythorbate, sodium nitrite.

    Is this accpetable during induction?

      nope they aren't.. im sorry i forgot beef ahahah opps... beef is the first indregident followed by water.

        just remember that all foods that contain less then .5 carbs per manufacturers serving size can say 0 carbs. to be safe count it as .5 per serving and you will never be over.

        the ingredients are acceptable for induction

          Hot dogs are fine as long as they don't contain any carbs or sugar and it sounds like the ones you picked pout are just fine.

          Boars Head makes an excellent low sodium, zero carb zero sugar hotdog and equally tasty Bratwurst - no fillers at all and they use only choice cuts of meat. Ask your deli department of they carry them if not you can find a retailer close to you at www.boarshead.com

          In addition to hot dogs they have a wonderful selection of Atkins friendly Induction acceptable meats, cheeses, mustards, dressings and sauces.

            Yeah, tell us what brand those hot dogs are because i spent 10 minutes at the store searching and the only one which said zero carbs were some jewish/kosher hot dogs which were about twice the price of regular dogs.

            As a rule, I stay away from hot dogs myself.
