  • Day 7 of Induction

Well me and my housemate are upto day 7 of induction =]

I didn't think I'd survive after the terrible headaches on day 2 and 3. I was addicted to sugar and caffeine with drinks like coke being a staple for me. But I got through it and I'm sure my dentist is cheering.

I did notice that the first few days, I was going to bed very early and had waves of sleepiness wash over me suddenly in the evenings. But I also woke up a lot earlier as well. After the 3rd day, everything kinda went back to normal and my energy had returned.

Water on the first two days almost made me gag, as I hadn't really had much water for a very long time. But now I'm addicted to it lol. Although physically I cant see that much difference, the scales seem to tell a different story. So I thought I'd post my results for the week. I have one of those scales that apparently shows Fat, Water and muscle so I record that as well although I dont know how acurate that is.

I guess I should post up my photos as well, although I cant see that much change just yet. I'm not letting that discourage me though =]

First let me say, great job thus far! Keep it up! Second, I would just caution you to avoid the scales. They're great early on for a lot of us, but at some point you'll probably see weight itself stall whereas the body fat will change (i.e. you will be losing inches...errr, centimeters...err centimetres but not necessarily kg's). Once you become a slave to the scales, it's a hard habit to break, so I would just offer the advice to cut it down to maybe once a week or even less if possible.
