I cheated!!! My wife and some of my friends bbq'd and they made some chicken with sauce and some without sauce. Well they burned all of them pretty good so it was hard to tell which one was which, even by taste.
So I had a couple of the non sauced ones and then the following day (yesterday) I took the bag of chicken out of the fridge, and heated me up a piece. I took a few bites and then I got a spot that wasn't that burnt. And ya know what? It tasted like sauce! I was like "Honeyyyy... Does this taste like sauceeeee?". She tasted it, I saw her face cringe. I knew right then and there what I had eaten. It all started to make sence why this one piece of chicken tasted FRIGGIN AWESOME lol. Mannnnn I blew it again!!! That sucked! lol

Suffice it to say I became weak and said to myself "Well since I'm off the diet now I can do a slight splurge and just start back up tomorrow! Nooo problemmm!". Well that "Slight splurge" turned into eating the rest of that bbq chicken leg quarter to eating a bowl of apple jax and some leftover Easter Peeps. Well I didn't gain anything (Praise The Lord), but I am back on induction today. So my question to any of the knowledgable people out there... Am I starting off from scratch again or is my body going right back from where I left off kinda sorta?

Any info would be much appreciated...
And for that matter, any tuff love IE - "Look at them jelly rolls!" and "Aw you just had to eat them peeps didn't you fatboy!" as well as "nobody lovesss youuuu!!" is also exceptable. lol Yeah don't mind me, I've got problems lol

Nah I'm just messin. It's gotta be the vicodin talkin lol

Yes when Atkins wrote in the book that 'just one taste' is a kiss of failure I guess he knew what he was talking about. Anyways. Good stuff that you are back on the wagon and yes you just continue.

Yeah... I know that one... I have a few of those well meaning friends that actually push a spoon full of some forbidden delight' my way... "ONE BITE WONT HURT" they chide innocently. Well , you have to find out the hard way like I'm sure the rest of us, that that one bite is enough to push even the strongest of us , over the edge. But learn however we must, as long as we learn it.

This is going to sound harsh, but it is tough love- your downfall wasn't the sauce, that was minor- that stuff happens and you just move on. Your downfall was allowing yourself to make excuses that you should just not bother since you ate a little sauce. Lesson learned is don't sweat the small stuff and keep going.
