Re: Atkins Chocolate
If by Atkins chocolate you mean the bars, shakes, etc. then no. Those are loaded with ingredients not on the acceptable foods list for Induction, and they're also full of sugar alcohols, which some people metabolize. I made this mistake the first time I did Atkins and suffered greatly for it. Sorry!

Re: Atkins Chocolate
As Pagliaccia said - if the ingredients in any processed food or snacks are not listed on the foods allowed for induction then the product is not allowed till you reach the level/rung of the second phase of Atkins (ongoing weightloss aka OWL) where all the ingredients are allowed.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Re: Atkins Chocolate
What are the ingredients, though? Soy and whey protein? Milk? Of course the Atkins company will want you to buy the products, why wouldn't they?
It's always a good idea to inspect the ingredients of anything you eat and compare it to the Acceptable Foods List for Induction.
Many people have these products, then either wonder why they're stalled or just go off the WOE entirely, spurred on by ingredients they shouldn't be introducing yet.

Re: Atkins Chocolate
Well I threw out the other 3 that I bought today, to be safe I didn't have any fats or cheese for supper, just a piece of chicken. Thanks for the warning about the stuff. Ok, another thing, if we cant have milk, how is cheese ok? Is it because its in limitation of 3 ounces?
