Oh, those little white shorts I stuck back in the drawer.
I ate too many Ho-Ho's, can't fit into you anymore..
Too many tamales and plate's of rice..
Such a shame, in you I looked so nice.

Now I am trying to get rid of the weight..
Fitting into you, well, I will make it my fate.
I will eat broccoli till I look just as green.
Oh, those little white shorts haven't seen the last of me.

For here comes June, July, August too..
And if it takes me ALL spring and summer.....I'll get back into you.

This is my promise to me, myself, and I.
And when I complete this goal.. I promise to SMILE.. and NOT CRY!
Those days of tears, well they are long gone..
And those little white shorts.. believe me... I'll get them back on.
