Hi all.
First of all I had joined this board sometime ago and made a failed attempt of doing induction before. After a while I just gave up and even stopped reading the board messages. But I kept getting email messages from Tom to ask how I was doing with the diet and saying I was missed. Well I guess one of those messages came at the right time when I was just so frustrated after not losing any weight after trying so hard to stick to either WW principles or overall low fat/ low calorie meals. I also was exercising regularly and not losing a pound that stayed off.
I remembered that even with my previous failed induction I was able to lose weight. So I took out my book again and got to reading and was wondering why I had stopped to begin with. So I humbled myself and came back...got motivation just by reading all your posts again and decided to just lay low and do my induction before I even posted again. There were days that I just read and read your posts for hours it seemed just to keep me going. The first 2 days or so I ate so much meat to control my hunger but after that it was okay...only to have the dreaded flu' and that headache made me want to quit but I continued and by the 4th/ 5th day I was feel so much better and not so hungry anymore. Since then it has been easier to do. I am using Fitday and have to force myself to eat sometimes to make the percentages right.
Because of the Induction flu' and TOM I havent done much on the exercise front but I am starting soon...I feel so much better when I exercise even when I am not losing a thing.
Well sorry for the rambling...just had to let you all know I lost 10.8 lbs and I am looking forward to going on to OWL Rung 1. Keep being my sources of motivation and I hope I can motivate someone else too. Thanks
