It's bad that you ate the biscuit and that you didn't eat your veggies, and you should figure out what lead to the cheat and design a plan to avoid this from happening in the future. That being said, your weight loss will not stall because of one biscuit. A stall is defined as 4 consecutive weeks in which you experience no weight loss and no loss of inches. I doubt a biscuit will cause you a 4-week damage.

If you have an intolerance to any of the ingredients in the biscuit, it will cause you to retain some water weight. But if you only ate one biscuit and didn't go on a binge, then this is just water weight and should come off relatively fast. Drink lots and lots of water. That will help.

Make your next meal a legal one and don't use this bad meal as an excuse to have a bad day. My advice is you to stay away from the scale until the end of Induction, so that you don't obsess over that number. I hope you also took body measurements before starting the program. If you didn't, now it's the time to do it.

At the end of Induction, you will have determine your degree of metabolic resistance based on your Induction weight loss. Because of the cheat you had, your results may be a little skewed towards a higher degree of metabolic resistance. But other than that, you'll be fine. Get back on track now and learn from this mistake so that you do better next time.

Those biscuits do taste good but they are loaded with starch and sodium. I love them so when I go there I ask the server that they not be brought to the table at all. Period. I find I have had to ask myself the hard question--what do I want more? health and being slimmer and trimmer? Or one damn biscuit/ice cream/pizza/etc that is going to make me feel crappy and set me back half a week? No food is worth what it does to my self esteem to find that I have once again been too weak to resist a temptation. But resisting a temptation and walking away a little stronger and feeling better about myself has ALWAYS been worth whatever food I left sitting there uneaten. It is as simple as that.

It's not about the results. Its about the process.
