  • Stronger than ever.....

    I work 2 jobs so sometimes I have to eat between jobs. My second job is at the mall, and right next door to my department store is Miss Field's they sale cookies, brownies, and smoothies. I use to visit that place at least 3 days out of the week, a co-worker insist that she reward me with a chocolate chip cookie and I told her no but she placed the bag on my counter and left, I did not know what to do so I hurryed up and gave it away, never done that before, now I feel stronger than ever I'm in my first week and I already lost 10lb, nothing can stop me now.

    Started diet 4/27/09

    5/2/09 - down 10lb

    Next goal 15lb hope to reach it by 5/17/09

    Wish me luck.

    Thanks for all your support.

    Trust me, giving that thing away was the best gift you could've given yourself!! Don't let anything derail you! You want to know exactly what your metabolic resistance is and to get an accurate idea, you need to do an extremely clean induction--no cheats at all!

    Sounds like you're doing great!! Keep treating yourself well! You deserve it!

          Putting yourself / your health first is what you should always do, so kudos to you for making the right decision.

            Sometimes people bring candies and things as a thank you and I always feel a little guilty passing them on, but I would feel so much worse if I then ate them instead. So pat yourself on the back for making the correct decision and bask in the knowledge that you have just strengthened your commitment

                Well done - that was a good way of coping with a gift :yes;

                I gained a great reputation for generosity the first Christmas that I was Atkineering as I just gave away any 'no-no' gifts, sometimes without even taking off the pretty paper if the donor had told me what was in the parcel.
