well its day 10 and ive been ketosis for 7 days now. Lost 6 pounds. Guess that is good for my weight and build. Feel great. Im going to start running again tommorrow quit for a couple days cause i got wisdom teeth out. Havent been able to get down much, The loritab mess with my stomach and the pain. Plus i cant really open my mouth much to get a fork in, it was hard to eat a salad today. Kinda funny cause i looked funny eating. Face is bruised up. question about moving into next stage as long as ive been on atkins on and off ive never moved up. I though if you stayed in induction forever you would loose ongoing weight forever lol. if i dont feel like ive lost everything ive wanted to do i move or stay. And do you loose when you move? Ive done a super clean inductioin so far.
any advice and experience would be amazing.

Ashley, 6 lbs for your weight is excellent! Well done!
Just raising an alarm signal here... Don't be worried if you'll gain a few lbs when you start exercising again. It will be just water weight as your muscles are recovering and it should come off relatively fast.
About Induction and OWL. You should definitely move to OWL since you have very little to lose. You have 20 lbs or so to lose and you've lost 6 lbs until now. This means that you have a low degree of metabolic resistance, so you may be able to eat 40-60 net carbs and still lose weight. If you exercise regularly, you should be able to eat even more -- 60 to 90 net carbs. Extended Induction may be good for those who have a high metabolic resistance or have a lot to lose, but that's not you. So move to OWL and enjoy the food variety OWL has to offer.
And yes, you will keep losing weight during OWL and even during Pre-Maintenance. But to get good results, it is important to follow the rules in the book. Induction is quite mindless, but the next phases of Atkins are very individualized and you will need the book in order to devise a plan that best works for you.
