So I looked on the back of my "Dole - Just lettuce" bag and it states for 1.5 cups:
    total carbs: 3g
    dietary fiber: 1 g
    sugars: 2 g

The ingredients state only iceberg and romaine lettuce...where's that sugar coming from? Is it still okay to eat?

    Also...

My "Kraft Ranch" states for 2Tbsp:

    total carb: 3g
    fiber: 0g
    sugars: 2g

and the ingredients list sugar third from the top. Is it still okay to eat 1 Tbsp with my salad? Do they even make sugar free ranch?

    Thanks for the patience,
    Adam

All vegetables, fruits, nuts, legumes, grains, and some dairy contain naturally occuring sugars. These naturally occuring sugars are okay. What you want to avoid is added sugar, typically listed in the ingredients.

    Frankly, I wouldn't use it.

      I wouldn't use it either.

This is a recipe for homemade ranch dressing: Sugar Free Ranch Dressing Recipe @ CDKitchen.com :: it's what's cooking online!

It has buttermilk though, which is not allowed during Induction. I think you could substitute sour cream for buttermilk. I never tried though, so I'm sure how it would turn out. Anyone experimented with this?

Sourcream would make a fair substitute for buttermilk.
