    I read a this thread DAY 15: Should I stay or should I go (to OWL)?
    Since I dont have the book yet(yet to order - am in italy) wanted to know what these 4 questions are ?? Today am in the Day 2 of Induction. Wanted to decide myself whether I should go to the OWL (phase 2 ) after my 14day induction.. i need to lose 30pounds if that helps in deciding..

    I am sorry if I am asking too many question.. I always want to clarify things before doing it, and I get good advices from you all ....so i thank each and everyone of you...
    Age - 30
    Height - 155cm
    Started Weight - 160lbs
    Current weight - 156
    Goal Weight - 130lbs

    But these questions alone can be misunderstood if you do not read the whole chapter. Dr. Atkins also wrote that the people who may benefit from extended Induction are those who are metabolically resistant or those who have a lot of weight to lose. He recommended those who do not have a lot to lose to move to OWL, so that they have time to advance through all the phases of the program by the time they reach their goal weight.

    Question 4 does not mean your weight loss will go down to 0.3 lbs per week. It just means you may lose, let's say, 3.5 lbs per week instead of 4. Also keep in mind that your weight loss will slow down anyway as you get closer to goal.

      What i thought was..i will do the two weeks induction and see how i do ( hope & pray that i do lose some weight) and decide or ask you guys for advice as I always do

        Not a totally bad strategy, but I would still advise you to read the book. It is important to learn how to make your own (healthy) decisions when it comes to your eating habits. Not so important on Induction (which is quite mindless), but things are very different when you move to the other phases of Atkins.

        Your Induction appears to be well-planned, so I believe you'll see good results.
