I have been doing Atkins for the past 12 days. It looks as if I have not lost any weight. I got on the scale and I am at 218 again. Yes, I cheated yesterday, which gave me the crazy license to cheat again today and have peach cobbler and spaghetti for dinner to night.
I was eating a lot of cheese and stay true to just pure meets and occassionally a salad at least every otherday. I was drinking at least 80-100on of water and lifting weights every other day as well as doing some kind of aerobic exercise or pilates alternate days.
I also have had terribly hard stools and have been consitpated. Yesterday BM was very difficult to the point where I am scared to do the diet because of the straining ( sorry about the TMI).
I am at my wits end. I just did Weight Watchers about 4 weeks ago and gave up, I was working out hard before that and no change. I feel as if I am destined to stay fat forever and I just hate being like this.
Only one day did my ketostix turn 40% purple. Other days it has been at none to trace. In the past, I have been at 40%, but not working out, but still I am wondering if I have even been in ketosis other than that day because of the little to none trace of the ketones. First I attributed it to working out and the water, but I have found myself overeating at night, protein only, when I am not hungry. ( I am also stressed out).
Can some one please help me and give me some direction please. I feel as if everything is out of control, and I can not even control my own body.
