I am starting Induction, before doing so I purchased an Atkins book and read it. I then discoved the Atkins web site. In the book it says to eat 2-3 cups of veg per day. On the site it says to make sure that you get 12 -15 gram of carbs of veg a day. Can someone explaint to me why there is such a huge diffrence between the two? And which one should I be following.

Re: Question?
On this board, we follow the Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution 2002 Ed. Dr. Atkins made adjustments to his plan over the years - and after his death the Atkins corporation made more changes (which we do not support on this board). You need to choose which version of Atkins you want to do ... we consider this the 'real' Atkins, since it is Dr. Atkins' version, not the version the corporation came up with after his death to sell more Atkins brand products (shakes & bars, etc).Julie__________________F/37/5'2"__________________Start April 15, 2009

Re: Question?
Yeah - I think that is the key. Do not over think just follow the rules and go with the flow. Depending on what veggies you pick you may not get 12 or 15 but be happy. And do try to try a lot of the veggies on the lists. There are some really wonderful ones there. I have discovered veggies I never used to eat before.
