After 2 weeks of Induction for my 2 guys, and 3 for me, we had a family discussion about Atkins yesterday. My husband and I are only down 3 lbs each totally, both of us stayed the same at yesterday's weigh in.
My son is down another 3lbs for a total of 10 lbs.
(he is much heavier than we are, so it's understandable)
We discussed our eating habits, drinking water, planning menus and exercise
, (or the lack thereof on the part of my 2 guys!). Ben (our son) suggested we have a "cooking day" to make up, portion out and freeze some meals so we have something quick to eat on days I work late. We also decided we aren't keeping good enough track of the amounts of cheese and cream we use, thereby likely having too many carbs. We decided to stay on Induction for another 2 weeks, being more careful of our "other" carb intake (as compared to vegies), and I will measure the salad vegies more carefully for them. (I do all the planning, purchasing and cooking. Thanks to Linda's Low Carb web site!!)
Even when I went to WW's, I always stalled at 170/175. So we'll see how another 2 weeks can help. At least I didn't go up!
