  • Induction City -- Here I come

So, my name is Lauren and I am a carb-a-holic. And due to this, my first day on atkins (yesterday) was kind of a challenge. I had a hard time staying full (mostly my own fault) but when I got home and had a filet and green beans, I realized I was going to be fine.

Making this better, was the 3.2 lb weight loss since yesterday. And yes I tried my scale in 3 different rooms of the house, same everyplace.

So my question, is this just a total inflated first day because my body is going into "the shock" of a diet and I ate less because I am still coming to realize what I can eat and of course the food isn't quite as exciting as chips?

Any thoughts would be great, I am trying not to get too excited because I know there is no way a weight loss that quick will continue.

Because we cut out carbs the body will let go of some water in the beginning so the very first loss it mostly that.
Make sure to plan to eat though. Going hungry is not good on this diet. You want those protein/fat meals or snacks.
A bit of an adjustment for sure.
Hope you have another great day.

      Welcome to our ADBB family

It looks as if you are off to a good start
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
