  • Home made jello

I have been reading a lot on sugar free jello and I was wondering if this was ok? Instead of 10 packets use only 3 packets? I don't know anything on the gelatin though. I am also in the induction phase. I just want to have as much variety ready for me as possible so that I dont fail.

    Recipe off of recipezarr.com

    Ingredients
    • 1 envelope knox gelatin (or 1 Tbsp.)
    • 1 cup boiling water
    • 1 cup cold water
    • 10 packets of sweetener
    • 1 teaspoon unsweetened Kool-Aid (to taste)

It depends how sweet you want it. 10 packets of sweetener has the sweetening power as 1-2 teaspoons of sugar. That's the equivalent of about 1/4 top 1/2 cup of sugar.

Just remember that you are limited to 3 servings of sweetener per day on Atkins. So if you make that recipe as it is written, 1/3 of it will use up all of your sweetener for 1 day.

      Re: Home made jello

my personal experience is that jello doesn't fill me up so I stay away from it. Whatever I put in my mouth has nutritional value to it. But I have never been a big jello eater.
