    Hi and welcome!! :wave

Make sure and read the sticky's in this and any other forum you go to, as they are full of good info :yes

Are you using Fitday? It's a very handy tool, and you'll see the sticky for it here as well.

Your menu looks pretty good...did you get your full 3 cups of veggies in? Be careful you don't go over your cheese limits and make sure that if you are hungry, have a snack! A protein/fat combo snack is best.

All the best to you and I look forward to hearing how much you've lost at your 14 day weigh-in!

Yes, I started keeping a food log on FitDay. What a great tool!
I almost had the 3C veggies yesterday. I'll make sure I get them in today and will watch the cheese intake.
Missing my morning cup of vanilla creamer and a lil coffee right now! :anger off to get some more water........

          Hi ya'll:
I'm going to totally scale down my diet after viewing AWA's. I feel like a pig compared to AWA. I eat for breakfast 4 egg whites, 1 reg egg, 4 slices of bacon and maybe a string cheese. Lunch and dinner the same, no wonder i'm not losing.
          Keep it up AWA!

            Hi Jue!
Please don't feel that way. I looked at my daily calorie total and I think it was to little to keep healthy. It was also only day 1 for me so I was really trying to be good. My challenge will be the next 4 days. I leave on a trip and eating while away from home has been really hard for me. I did pack a cooler of food to take with me so hopefully that will help curb the bad food choices I have been making.

            Breakfast:
            3 slices Canadian bacon
2 eggs scrambled with 1 sliced ring of orange bell pepper and sm sprinkle of mozzarella cheese
            water

              Ahh...vanilla creamer...my old sweet friend....lol

I used to always start my day with my vanilla coffee. Switching to decaf was no big deal but not having my vanilla creamer made my mornings feel SO awkward. After my two week Induction was over I discovered that one of the coffee shops our scooter club goes to had splenda sweetened vanilla syrup!!
A small (and I mean small..it's very sweet) shot of that with some heavy cream in my coffee just hit the spot.
I found Torani, but DaVinci has splenda as well.

Interestingly enough, I hardly use it anymore...I just mainly use a little bit of splenda and cream now. I find it too overpowering.

Jue - you'll have to give more statistics (height, weight, etc.) to have someone determine whether you're eating too much or too little.

You don't have to limit yourself to egg whites. The yoke is where all the great things are.

Jue - dont feel bad about eating more than someone else.
Dr Atkins tells us to eat if we are hungry and until we are full.
So as long as you dont stuff yourself and eat food just because it is there you are doing fine.

As has been suggested by cmcole amounts eaten vary from person to person depending on many different factors so eat to suit yourself not to match what someone else eats.

So perhaps have a little less for breakfast if you think you dont need as much but prepare some snacks to have available to eat if you feel hungry before your next meal.

In time we work out what our bodies need and you will find your own routine before long. :hug
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
