Re: Eating out?
Most salads are fine if you take your own dressing with you.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Re: Eating out?
No breadcrumbs what so ever
I eat steaks when I go out or shirmp or lobster or grilled chicken and salad.
And sometimes bunless burgers.

Re: Eating out?
No breadcrumbs, no other "fillers" like flour, wheat starch etc. You can eat any fresh meat with no additives, but nothing like chicken nuggets, meat with breadcrumbs etc. If it isn't on the allowed list (link below), don't touch itOriginally posted by laura1986 View Postcan you eat frozen meat with breadcrumbs on, or is it just things like chicken breasts etc??

Re: Eating out?
Meat shouldn't have any carbs unless there are additives, so in most cases you just need to count carbs in the veggies. Be wary of sauces etc though. I just tell them that I have allergies to a bunch of stuff and get them to check for me. There is always something I can have with minimum fussOriginally posted by laura1986 View Postif your eating out how do you know how many net carbs are the meats for example because on the list of foods it does not say?

Re: Eating out?
Ordering any food with sauces can be awkward in a restaurant as you will need to be adamant about avoiding the starches and sugar usually added to commercial products.Originally posted by laura1986 View Postok cos a lot of foods that come with sauces come in a pit anyway.
If the staff can assure you there is no flour/starch/sugar then the sauces should be fine - but often they don't know themselves (or even say it is OK without checking
)
Sometimes saying you would have medical problems if they do contain them can get truthful answers, as no restaurant wants to be sued for making their customers ill
Best to ask for no sauces or marinaded meats when ordering in a restaurant/cafe and choose instead to use butter (for hot foods) or oil & vinegar for salads.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Re: Eating out?
I know that the pizza places like Pizza Hut, Dominos, etc, that serve chicken wings "plain" get their wings prepackaged, and more often than not one of the ingredients on the package is sugar. I've also found this to be true for the rotisserie chickens at Winn-Dixie and Publix.
