  • Umm...Bright Yellow Urine?

    Embarrassing Much? It's almost fluorescent!

I started a clean induction on Monday. I drink over 100 oz. of water daily. My urine has always been clear and colorless. I'm taking potent multi-vitamin, b-complex, potassium, calcium, and 4 EFA supplements a day.

I've done a little research and it looks like the B vitamin is the cause. My concern is that I'm not absorbing the vitamin? Or is it just the excess?

    Pretty expensive pee...

B-complex-yup. It is excess. Nothing to worry about.

The B Vits and Vit. C are all water soluble ... meaning your body uses what it needs and send the rest out via the kidneys. Vit D, E and K are fat soluble ... meaning the excess is stored for later use. It's pretty hard to OD on water soluble ... not so hard to OD on fat soluble.
