I was wondering what everyone is feeling during these first two weeks. I was on induction for 5 days, but this past weekend Memorial Day I flubbed. So now I'm back again. I have been noticing this weird taste in my mouth, kinda sugary / metallic...(weird huh). Also experiencing a kind of light-headed cloudiness. I am also so THIRSTY!! Anyone else experiencing anything??

Re: Induction symptoms
My first go around, I had all these and more horrid symptoms. I was only taking a multivitamin. This time, I've added B complex, Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium & EFA and I have experienced zero induction symptoms (aside from keto-breathe!). I hope this helps. Good luck!

Re: Induction symptoms
I drink more than 64 oz of water a day...I usually drink that while I'm at work. Then I prolly drink about 16 oz at home so I don't know why I'm so thirsty. I'm planning on getting all of my vitamin & mineral supplements first thing tomorrow! ThanksGoal #1 - 212

Re: Induction symptoms
Believe it or not, its a good place and it gets better! After about the 3rd day you will have a really positive attitude (feeling) come over you. Its the fat reserves being tapped into and your body has a constant suppy of fuel. Thats part of why you won't feel hungry all the time. But besure to keep eating meat and enough green veggies and lots of water.
I have been in ketosis for 5 weeks, my personal lbs loss isn't spectacular like some (just 1 lb!) but the inches have droped off me. I feel like that old commercial on tv that they found pones on the floor! lol I'm in another size clothes now and thats exciting! Just woke up one morning went to put my rockie mountain jeans on...baggy!
Just wanted to tell you it does get better.
