  • Snack tips for induction phase?

Hi everyone! I started today! I am very excited! I have my basic meals planned out but do you have any suggestions for snacks??
I know Atkins has their milkshakes but I'm not a big fan of sweet snacks.

    Any tips would be great!!

pumpkin mixed with cream cheese is my current favorite
1/2 cup pumpkin with a little barely softened butter and cream cheese, cinnamon, tiny bit of sweetener

    cold baked chicken legs
    deviled eggs
    celery sticks with cream cheese
deli cold cuts rolled with thin sliced cheese
small cup of homemade mexican chicken soup with grated cheese

that is off the top of my head

Those shakes and bars are nightmares so good thing you did not plan on including them in your diet.
On Atkins snacks should as much as possible be protein/fat based.

I like cheese. The cheddar cheese chips are nice and salty and celery dipped in cream cheese has been a life saver. There is a limit on cheese so have to be careful with it.

Eggs make good snacks. Boiled eggs. And deviled eggs are great.

I also sometimes like to keep chicken wings around.

Prosciutto is good - and in some kind of roll up delicious

Smoked salmon - luxury but very nice.

Some people like pepperoni - I find that pepperoni often has sugars so I have not used it for snack. I do keep it around for emergency food though.

deli roast beef, chicken or turkey with cream cheese smeared on it and a kosher dill pickle slice wrapped up is a great snack or a couple makes a wonderful lunch!

I carry celery, radish, cucumber, colored peppers and green onion in a baggie with me so if I need a little something it's all good and legal - plus the colors are so nice!

A flax cookie is good (and helps keep you regular). If you take a water bottle and partially freeze it then add it to your lunch sack (or snack sack) it will help keep your food cold and will be something to drink when you are snacking.

How to Make Deviled Eggs - Great Low Carbohydrate Recipes

Deviled eggs are one of those things that you can play around with the recipe on. I like just mayo, chopped pickles, diced onion and a little mustard and paprika.

I don't have a recipe. I am a throw something together kind of cook
I also use majo, a bit of mustard, white wine vinegar. Maybe paprika or chives on top for decoration.
