  • Me vs. Whooshie Pie

I made this for the first time tonight, and ooooh it's so good. Since I am the only one at home, and my husband (who is very picky) would not touch it with a 10 foot pole, I made only half the recipe.

Therein lies the problem. The remaining portion was talking to me...telling me it's okay to eat the whole thing JUST THIS ONCE. It was a battle! I stood there, and told it, NO!! I will not eat the whole thing! I will be strong! You, Mr. Whooshie Pie are going into the fridge!

He must have gotten the point, cause there he sits, in the fridge....till tomorrow

I have won this battle!! YAY ME!!

Thanks for the smile... I needed that. Way to go!

I haven't tried Whooshie Pie yet, although I did buy some horseradish. I'll have to try it out this week. I've heard rave reviews of the taste and it's ability to bring a "whooshing" goodness.

Yes! Good going! You now have also that slot of time you DON'T have to spend in the kitchen, because you already have it ready to go!

            Re: Me vs. Whooshie Pie

was wondering if anyone has made hamburgers and used the whooshie pie filling as a topper? seems like it should have the same effect but if they are individual burgers you could portion control.

            just curious...K

Yeah, you can. And that is my plan for next time. Its the horseradish in the recipe that is the key. It's a diuretic.
