    Hi everyone:

I'd like to thank you all for the fiber suggestions. I purchased sugar free orange flavored Metamucil. This morning I got up about 5:30 a.m. and thought to myself "might as well take this stuff now before breakfast."

You guys should have warned me that this stuff tastes and has an after-taste similar to baby aspirin and that at first it could produce gas. No I didn't go over-board. I took exactly one teaspoonful, per Dr. Atkins' instructions. Yup, I know he wrote to take one tablespoon daily but I figured there are ~ 3 teaspoonfuls in a tablespoon so I'd take it three times a day. Yeah, break into it slowly, I figured. Avoid gas and bloating.

This morning was my leg and abs workout. Legs went okay but when I went to do abs, on the second crunch, well to put it mildly, I was Jet propelled. Glad I'm not 20 lb. lighter or I would've been airborne.

    Later,

Thanks for the laugh...that was my abs workout for the day
Seriouly...I hope you feel better. If that stuff doesn't work out for you, I just use plain ground psyllium husk from the health food store - it looks like light-coloured bran ... I just mix 1tbsp with a 1/4 cup of water & down it - no taste, no fuss.
