Agreed. I used to hit the ATM once a week, sometimes twice. I now go once, maybe twice a month. I've had the same $7 in my wallet all week.

I second that.. I used to eat out way too much. Unfortunately most of it fast food. I would say I've definitely saved money as well.

I look at the vending machine at work and think about how much money I deposited there and all I ended up with was more body weight.
Yes I think we can do good with money on Atkins. For me it has entailed some bulk shopping and taking advantages of sales and seasonal stuff. But yeah!!!!!!

And how many times did I buy groceries (with the best intentions of cooking healthy meals) and wound up eating out anyway because I was too tired (lazy, sluggish, add in any adjective you like!)

          That's double wasted money!

I can't tell you how many heads of lettuce/green beans, etc. I threw away on Friday after buying them on the previous Sunday with the best of intentions of eating them during the week.

My restaurant bill has gone from $400 per month to under $100 per month. I use to eat out every single day. A pizza trip alone would cost $40 bucks for a couple of large pizzas (so I could have leftovers...)

Now I spend that money on new clothes
