Well, I have a good report to give. Today after church, I was starving..hadn't eaten all morning. So it was about 2:30 and I took my kids to the drive thru. Even though it ran across my mind, and I normally would have ordered something for myself, I refrained. I knew there was something induction friendly at home and I didn't give in. Nor did I bite or eat any of my kids food. It really wasn't that appetizing. I'm so glad that my habits are changing, hopefully in the future my whole family will be introduced to this WOE. Oh yea, I've gone from an 18W to 14W. And I finally found a workout plan I can do consistantly. WHOO HOO. I'm on my way.

Way to go!!!! I am getting good at resisting as well! My granddaughter lives with us and needs her potatoes and oatmeal etc....I do not go the...do not lick the spoon or nothing! My 2 step sons are here quite often and they like chips and candy...they had smarties and reeses yesterday and at first I thought "yum"...but it is just not worth it! I just had a cheat day not long ago and had to battle 3 pounds back off again(wasn't that bad of a cheat either..I thought)
Size 18 to 14...WOW how much have you lost?? I cannot wait to be back into a size 14!! I am a size 18 (16 fits but not comfotable enough)...I was in a size 10 a few years back after a 60 pound weight loss...but it found me!! I felt like a million bucks!!! We will get to the million buck stage!

it's not a good idea to skip meals --- especially breakfast. Make a mock dainish or something to eat on the run....a mock danish only takes 2 minutes and 30 seconds to make so you do have time! It's 30 seconds to mix it up and 2 minutes to cook it in the microwave....you can even make it the night before and warm it in the morning. Good for you not caving and eating something you shouldn't.
Dorrie, even if you didn't think your cheat was much of one obviously your body thought it was....that's why the one time I was caught at the hospital and ate something I thought was legal (and wasn't) was the only time I've been caught unaware! I carry 1oz of nuts (rung 3) in my purse so if all else fails I have something that will keep me full.
My mother is having eye surgery at 6:30 a.m. and I'm having blood work done so I made a mock danish after dinner to take with me in the morning. There is a microwave at the hospital (for visitors to warm up the donuts and bagels they provide for free) so I'll warm my danish up and have it after my blood work while I'm waiting for her to get out of surgery.

Size 18 to a size 14!?!?!?!?!?!?!? That is wonderful! How much weight have you lost? I went from my highest size (22/24W) to where I am now (14/16W). I really want to be in a 14 again! I haven't been able to wear a comfortable size 14W since the 5th grade (I am just finishing 9th grade). Congratz!!!!! I am so glad you resisted the fast food! I am still having some trouble with temptations...... You are doing GREAT!

On the 1st of the month I had lost 7 lbs. So a week later I haven't been back on the scale yet...I won't be weighing in again until the 15th. Twice a month is all I'm doing because I tend to obsess over the scale!!Goal #1 - 212
