  • Finished Induction!

Ha! I did it! 2 weeks of induction, no cheating!! I have lost 13.5 pounds and 5 inches. I have not felt this good for a very long time. I wake up and am awake! I do not need to nap during the day, I am alert, and want to do stuff. This is absolutely amazing. I'm going to continue the Induction diet for quiet a while, though. I have so much weight to lose before I feel really comfortable again.

Thanks to everyone on the board for their support.

    Keep being a loser!

    Robin

        Re: Finished Induction!

        Dear Reens_UK,
As far as meal plans, I really have none. I fix what I have for my family and do not eat the carbs. A good fry in the morning, some cheese or summer sausage mid morning, a huge salad for lunch with meat and cheese, a mid day snack of whatever carb free is in the fridgy, and supper for the family minus carbs. I am going to try fixing up some low carb Indian curries soon and will package them up for lunches.

My main issue has always been eating late at night. I no longer eat anything after 8pm. My other issues have been exercise and drinking water. My dog has arthritis, so we are now walking together and building up time and I bought a reusable stainless water bottle, 27 oz, that I must drink 3 of before I allow myself a no cal soda.

You can do it! Just jump back on the wagon. I think summer is the perfect time to start this because of the fresh salad and vegetables.

        Best of luck,
        Robin

Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
