  • Something very important ...

that I learned. I've finished my induction and am adding veggies - Rung 1. I just wanted to share something I learned by accident.

Eating and drinking lots of water is VERY important. I have been less than hungry the last week or so. Some days I haven't been drinking the water I should be. I'm thinking ... well this is a diet. So what if I don't eat much ... I'll lose weight that way too. Water will probably bloat me ... ya that's it.

Well, oddly enough ... I've not lost a pound in almost a week. I was beginning to panic but then I thought ... the folks on the Atkins site are always harping on and on and on about drink you water. Oh and don't skip meals ... eat something even if it's just a little snack.

So I did just that ... more water 'till I was peeing clear ... eating 3 to 5 times a day ... even it it was just a snack.

Guess what .... I just lost 3 pounds in the last 3 days ... the exact amount of days I've been following the rules .... go figure!

Thanks for posting this. It's amazing how effective keeping super hydrated is to weight loss. I too hardly believed it until I saw the effects (repeatedly) for myself.

I will continue to "harp" on the value of drinking water!! It's true that's why we always say to drink at least 64 ounces of pure water daily and not to skin meals....glad you got it!

Water is really important it flushes out the toxine in the body and aids the weight loss i used to do the same but the past few weeks since always seeing imagood1 tell of the importance and reminding members i have started to drink even left my diet sodas shes a good advisor i love reading the advice she gives and her site links are helpful too.
