  • I'm an idiot :(

I finished my iduction and embarked on OWL.

    Day 1 I ate:

chicken breast. Pork ribs, small bowl of salad, lamb koftas... then BAM I ate slice of blackberry cheesecake. Then for dinner I topped it all off with a KFC TexMex Wrapstar.

I havent put a morsel past my lips today. I'm terrified. Do I need to redo Induction from the start?

Can't believe how bloody stupid I've been

No you don't need to do another 14 days on induction if you eat off-plan on OWL.

Get back on induction-eating for a day or so to make sure you are back in ketosis then restart OWL.

But it will help you to work out why you ate that cheesecake so you can plan a strategy for the future to avoid falling down the slippery slope
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

No need to restart Induction. Just continue Induction for another 2 or 3 days. Then get back on to OWL.

The most IMPORTANT thing to do is to figure out what caused you to fall off the diet. Then make up coping mechanisms to prevent future "slips".

BTW, lamb koftas sometimes contain bread crumbs or rice or some other grain filler.

        Thank you, girls.

I think it was a case of.. I'd come off induction and felt like the reigns had been loosened a little (which is rubbish when I think of it logically as I loved induction eating!).. so I'd went out for lunch with friends and though "ohhh just one little slice of cheesecake wont hurt".. dinner time "ohhh it's mainly protein only a little carb in it".

Although I will say this. After eating the cheesecake at lunch I was absolutely starving when dinnertime came round which is something that *never* happened on induction. I always felt satisfied.

Well, perhaps sometimes it's better to learn your lesson yourself than read about someone else who's done it. That you know 100% not to do it again, lol.

Guess I should nip round the supermarket and cook up something nice (and "LEGAL" lol)
