  • Got through the Weekend........

Whew, The weekend was rough :geek !! But I made it!!! :nod DH and my BIL's just don't understand, they can eat anything and not suffer, but I can't have rice and tortillas, etc. And if it is there, I want it.....But I can't make them suffer for my foolish behavior to chow on anythng in sight :sadblinky

Congratulations Cindy on not eating that rice and tortillas :clapping :clapping
It gets easier each time - I bet that after a couple of weeks you wont even think about eating them!! :hug
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Ok...i can so relate to this being hispanic. My husband is white but loves mexican food. We actually went to a mexican rest. on Friday night it was so HARD! I asked for grilled veggies instead of the rice and beans...my husband can pretty much eat anytihng he wants and stay the same weight. He's weighed 190 for as long as I can remember!

lol, people like that bug me now. It used to be people who ate all the fatty foods and never gained weight, and nows its people who eat all the carby foods and don't gain weight.

My roommate is so skinny that his doctor actually recommended that he eat a high carb diet to gain weight. Ugh - that just disgusts me.

I also know an Indonesian who would die without eating like 6 lbs of rice a day (ok, maybe not that much - its an exaggeration considering I haven't eaten rice in like 2 months) but is still skinny and scrawny.

          Oh well... se la vie.

Great Job! It must be hard...I am very lucky ( in a wierd sence) to have a husband who is a big kid when it comes to eating...he doesn't like much of anything besides pizza, maccaroni, subs, and BBQ hotdogs...so I have no problem making that ( I make it for my littles) and then I make my meals for me!
