Hello everyone! I'm brand new to this board so I'll give you a little run down of the situation before I ask my question.
I originally weighed around 124 lbs and during the first fews days of induction I got down to 121 lbs, but from there I just couldn't lose anymore. I was following the induction diet strictly, and did not cheat. I was eating a little over 1,000 calories per day of chicken, eggs, and the allowed veggies and fats. Around day 12 I started to get angry and frustrated and strayed from the diet a little bit. I didn't go out and buy a bag of bagels, but I allowed myself to have quite an amount of peanut butter, which ultimately threw me over my 20 net carbs per day limit. When I weighed myself the next afternoon, I noticed that I felt a little thinner and that my body had finally let go of some more weight. I am now at 118.2.
My question is this: Is it possible that my weight loss was stalling because I wasn't having enough carbs? I was quite thin to begin with, 5'6" and 124 pounds (Trying to lose weight for a modeling job). I wonder if my body thought it was starving so it was holding on to every last pound it could. Or was this just a fluke? Have any of you heard of something like this before?
