  • For everybody here: Update your bookmarks!

You might have noticed that the stickies in this forum were reorganized. Now we have fewer threads stuck on top of the forum, which makes it easier to see the regular threads, without having to scroll half way down the page. It also looks a bit "cleaner", imo.

Some of you might have the old stickies bookmarked, in which case you'll need to update them. I know others have standard posts with info for newbies --- you'll need to update the links in those too.

If you can't find something, if you believe that something was accidentally deleted (oops! ) or that a new FAQ should be added to the "Atkins Induction FAQs" thread, or if you consider additional sticky threads to be necessary, please post all your comments here. Thanks.

Re: For everybody here: Update your bookmarks!

Thank you for your hard work in re-organising the muddle of sticky threads we used to have, Georgiana

I am sure once everyone gets used to the new look they will be much easier to consult and refer to when posting here.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Please add the acceptable induction food list as a sticky... I know there is one over in the regular FAQ section, but it would be great if there was one in the induction section as well... otherwise, everything looks great and I love not having so many stickies

Re: For everybody here: Update your bookmarks!

I checked the results of the poll and it looks like everyone's happy with the new stickies. Everyone except 43% of those who voted, who didn't/don't know what stickies are. So the guys in the 43%, go to the "Atkins Diet 14-day Induction forum": Atkins Diet 14-day Induction - Atkins Diet. You will see a long list of threads. The first threads in that list have titles starting with "Sticky", e.g. "Sticky: Atkins Diet Induction FAQs". Those threads are sticky threads, i.e. threads that contain important information regarding either the diet or the board/forum(s).

Sorry for the late reply. So, I shared your suggestion with the other mods and we are not sure adding the list as a separate sticky in this forum is really necessary. We would expect newbies to open the "Atkins Diet Induction FAQs" thread if they are looking for the acceptable foods list in the "Atkins Diet 14-day Induction" forum because "What foods can I eat?" is a frequently asked question.

That being said, if more members consider that having a separate sticky with the list would be more helpful, we are not completely against changing things. But we'd need more replies here, both pro and con... [Hint for everybody: we want to know what you think! ]
