My reasons for posting this is because I have been there. I have done the "one bite" & "just a sip" thing. I have done my own modified versions. Yet I keep having to start over, don't I? I have tried every single trick I know, and even some I didn't. I allowed myself to have things in the wrong order of OWL and thought it was ok to have something not on the list of Acceptable Foods, as long as it was very small and I was under 20 carbs. I have tried not exercising. Yet here am I. Back at the beginning. Yet the difference is - this time everything is BY THE BOOK.
And my 2 years of yo-yo dieting is what I hoped I could help someone else avoid in the first place.
I'm on my way. By my birthday, I'll be a bonafide hottie, and I'll have the tools & skills to maintain it for life!

relax KRemo, You don't need to defend your topic at all. many many folk in fact the vast majority of the memebers of ADBB feel the same way you posted. We just had one member post a topic thanking a mod for hounding her to read the book as she realized she had not been doing Atkins for the past 2 yrs and learned why she regained all the weight she lost during her first yr in her second yr.
the rudeness police will always attact you for telling folk to take it upon themselves to learn and study and do it correctly as a cliffnotes version of Atkins yields cliffnotes results when the final comes.
They don't realize that old addage about if we teach you a person to fish they eat for a life time but if you give them a fish they only eat for a day.by the book atkinseer

Thanks 2big. I didn't want to be misunderstood, thats all. And people who are too freaking lazy to learn the right way to do something deserve the failure that will come to them. Read the book. Read the stickies. Use the search button. THEN if you still have questions, go for it! The forums are for discussion, not a how to guide. If you are this lazy about learning the proper way, then you are too lazy to do this WOL to begin with.
Just call me the Simon Cowell of the forums. LOL
