  • I'm back!!!!!

So I had amazing results the first time I started Atkins I lost 13 lbs during my 14 day induction. ...Then I took a trip to Las Vegas, completely tossed my diet and haven't looked back since. Well, until now. I am back up 7.5 lbs from where I was when I finished Induction and am SO disgusted with myself. Because the day is almost through, I am going to start fresh tomorrow morning. Back to induction. I don't know how I let myself go back. I feel awful, and HATE who I see in the mirror. Please, encouraging words from anyone who has had to restart after a fall.

I went on Atkins about a year and half ago and lost almost 30lbs,in that year and a half I gained it all back. I was really disgusted with myself also. Now I am on day 11 of Induction and am down 7lbs,why I stopped LC is beyond me. Good for you for getting back on plan! You can do it!

Hi i started the diet last july 7th(my bday) at 283 lbs and today its so close to a year im 177lbs.I had many falls during this year I even binged for upto 4 days put on 6 lbs but I always got back on track.I have stopped breaking the diet its been a while but all im trying to say is that we all have ups and downs but should get back on track as soon as we can then we will do well.If there is no effort put in the outcome will be no good.Just keep going it takes time but you will get there eventually.

Welcome back to the Atkins way of eating both of you

I don't know if you have discovered our Second Time Around Club forum yet, but our STACers are always happy to welcome new members there and even have a daily log-in thread so all can encourage and help each other stay on plan this time around.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
