  • Day 8 of Induction, Needing Some Help

I am on Day 8 of Induction and I have happily lost 5 pounds, however I need some recipe ideas for breakfast. I am getting a little sick of eggs and bacon and omelets for breakfast. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for the help!

You don't have to eat "breakfast food" for breakfast. You can have steak and veggies if that's what you want. Anything from the acceptable foods list is okay to have for breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks.

Yesterday I had quiche with mushrooms for breakfast. Today I had peppers stuffed with tuna salad.

These threads might give you some ideas:

In the second link above, not all recipes are allowed for Induction, so check the acceptable foods list if you are not sure what you can and can't have.

Ahhh, thank you . I ended up having some grilled chicken and green beans.. I want to make those oopsie rolls. Ever since I saw that recipe thats all I can think about! LoL. I really just need to get to the grocery store and stock up on some of these key items.. I absolutely HATE grocery shopping!

I know exactly what you mean! Actually, the last two days I've eaten steak and mushrooms for breakfast. Now I'm actually craving an omelet! LOL...I guess that's what I'll have for dinner...

How about the mock danish -- you'll never know you're eating an egg. It's very filling and can be transported. I make them the night before and have them cold - or warmed with a little butter and DaVinci maple syrup on top.

Yes, but as with all sweeteners/sweetened food or drink the serving needs to be counted as one of your 'up to 3 servings' that we are allowed.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

I like the fried chayote "apples" for breakfast in a one minute flax muffin. I add a bit of cinnamon and a T cream cheese too.

How do you make the 1-minute muffin? Isn't this the recipe that asks for 1/4 cup of flax meal per muffin?
