  • Wow! Another 5 pounds!

    This is great!

I found this board last Wednesday, after 1 1/2 weeks of induction. I read my way through this induction topic and realized I wasn't quite doing induction right, even though I had lost 13 pounds at that point. I was drinking about 32 ounces of coffee each day and I had no idea how many calories I was eating or what my Basal Metabolic rate was.

One week later I am caffeine free and 5 pounds less! Fitday is a wonderful tool. Thank you all for helping me learn more about what I am doing. Reading all the accounts of induction flu helped me to stubborn my way through my flu and caffeine withdrawl.

I think I will do one more week of this clean induction then move on. It is a very strange problem, but I may actually have to worry about loosing too fast for my skin to adapt to. 18 pounds in 2.5 weeks is a lot, even for someone who started with about 65 pounds to loose.

Well done for adapting once you found where you had been going wrong :clapping :clapping Not everyone can admit that and change :hug

Your exercise will help to firm up any sagging skin I am sure!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
