    Day 9 of Induction and down 7 lbs!

    I am very happy to say that I am down 7 lbs since I started Induction last Monday. I haven't had a single slip up and I am thrilled about it! I am so happy I found Atkins and even more happy that I can stick with it Thanks to everyone for all the help and support! I believe I will stay in the induction phase a little longer than two weeks though just to see how it continues to go.
    It took the honesty of a 4 year old to poke my arm and say to me "You're fat."

    Congratulations - that's great!



    Mini goal #1 - 196 - 10% of the old me gone Met 6/30/09!!!
    Mini goal #2 - 185 - BMI - no longer obese Met 12/23/09!!!
    Mini goal #3 - 174 - 20% of the old me gone
    Mini goal #4 - 154 - BMI no longer overweight

      F/60 yrs/5ft 5.5" (Though due to collapsing vertebrae I am now only 5'3" - but I refuse to recalculate my BMI )

        Yeah it seems like everyone I see (coworkers, parents) has noticed, EXCEPT my fiance! I even broke down and asked him, can you tell I've lost weight? "honestly, no." Grrrrrr...

                Though you may find him not noticing your weight loss offensive I can see where he comes from. I have lost 10lbs recently and asked my hubby if he noticed,he said no also. He explained that he sees me ALL the time and its just too hard to notice,now if it had been 30lbs in one week then he was sure to notice. I had friends that came to town recently that haven't seen us in a year and they said my hubby had lost a lot of weight....to be honest I can't tell at all! So I now know what he talking about!


                Congrats on the weight loss though! He wil notice but maybe not for a little while and then you will show him before and after photos and he will feel silly.lol
