  • Day 1 ! *drum roll please!*

    Half way through my first day on the road to fabulousness!

    Last year I lost 22kg's doing Atkins, but I sort of followed my own rules - and now for three months I have been stuck on the same weight - with about 25kg's left to get rid of - so I have kicked my own butt and I've decided to do it by the book! Yesterday I went to the shops and on my strict budget bought a few goodies - like cream for coffee, low carb Ketchup (I'm addicted!!) and sweetner.

    So here we are - in the middle of day one!
    Woke up this morning at 5am - because I start work at 7am - and made myself a scrambled egg with some mayo. It went down with a bit of difficulty - but I ate it. The decaf (I am a caffeine SLAVE) with cream was pretty yughy - but I'm determined!
    I got to work and had my second yughy coffee - and soon after that i started feeling hungry.
    I brought some cheese and a salad with veinna peices in to work. At 9:00am I ate my cheese and by 12 I was hungry for my salad. It had butter lettuce - which for some odd reason tasted like poison lettuce - so I had tomotoe and veinna -hmmm... I suppose i should have prepared a little better. I have been having many energy peaks and dips today - but otherwise I'm just fine. I had a cup of black tea - which was actually very good - and a ton of water! We are at the end of our summer - and this heat is terrible.
    An hour and 15 minutes and then I head home at 16h00. I have many ideas for dinner tonight - but I think it will be Lamb chops (my fav!) and vegys!!! yummm.....now I hope time fly's!!!!!!!!

    My only challenge is that I love to have a few glasses of wine on the weekend to unwind from the week before - I'm really going to miss that - but its just two weeks!!!

    I too missed my wine at first but it gets better as you go along. You know I am a totaly caffiene addict. I do not drink coffee anymore however. I stick to my water and it gets me through the day. Sometimes I will have a cup or two of herbal tea. I think it will get easier and things you do not like now will taste better as you go along. Congratulations on doing it by the book!
