  • Starting the atkins programme!Pls help me!

    I'm gonna start the programme tomorrow.But in Atkins diet new revolution book told that I'll feel dizzy and headache at 2-3 days at first.Then I need to know that tomorrow which is my first day,Can I exercise just like aerobic or yoga.it'll make my feel bad or not?Because i won't take any carb,right?

    oH! And can I take dietary supplement such as kelp,chromium or CLA?

    Hi Jemimajan,

    what your height, as you do not weigh alot, and the amount you want to lose for your body is quite a lot if your already 130lbs.

    Take your vitamins, get a good multivitamin.Centrum silver a good one.
    Yes you can exercise, i think it will be good for you, but take it easy as your body will go through some big changes asyou convert your metabolism.If i were you id see how you feel in the first few days, as normally you do feel a bit run down, tired and have a headace, but it passes aftr 2 or 3 days.

        You should begin exercising on Day 1. Some people don't feel the carb withdrawals ('Induction flu'); others do.

          Just checking you are not trying to have 'no carbs' are you?
          You should be eating up to 20 carbs a day - most of them from the three cups of veggies you will be eating :yes

          Just see how you feel as regards exercise and be aware of how your body is reacting to the change in diet and you should be fine. Stop or take it easy if you start to feel bad.

          BTW not everyone suffers a lot during the first few days so you might be one who feels fairly OK :hug
